Im Rahmen des Besetzungsverfahren der W3-Universitätsprofessur für Globalgeschichte findet diesen Freitag, am 24.01. um 12 Uhr ein Gastvortrag mit Lehrprobe statt. Der Gastvortrag von Herrn Prof. Dr. Michael Goebel (Genf) hat zum Thema: „Patchwork Cities: Urban Ethnic Clusters in the Global South During the Age of Steam“. Der Vortrag und die Lehrprobe werden in englischer Sprache gehalten.
Alle Studierenden und sonstigen Interessierten sind aufgerufen, daran teilzunehmen. Es ist besonders wichtig, dass Studierende in der Lehrprobe begutachten und evaluieren können, wie sich Herr Goebel in der Lehre macht.

For the appointment procedure of the W3 University Professorship of Global History, there’s going to be a guest lecture with a teaching session this Friday (24/01) at noon. The guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Michael Goebel (Geneva) is going to be about: „Patchwork Cities: Urban Ethnic Clusters in the Global South During the Age of Steam“. The lecture and the teaching session will be held in English. All students and all other interested parties are invited to participate. It is particularly important that students come along in order to examine and evaluate Mr. Goebel’s teaching.
